Using Video for Learning

I think that using videos as a tool for learning can be very beneficial.  By using videos, students are able to actually see how something works, happens, or the explanation is more clear than a teacher could make it.  For example, if someone is trying to explain to how a certain machine works it would be hard to visualize that process, but if a video is available to support the explanation it would be much easier to comprehend.  Videos can be very useful in the classroom to gain access to information that may not be readily available.
